and spices section contain base note essential oils which are slightly heavier in scent.
The spicy soap loaves usually appeal to male customers and adventurous women.

	Clove real powdered clove & clove essential oil. on our retail site, the clove soap is the most frequently ordered.  Most likely because clove soap is extremely difficult to make.  The clove has a tendency to accelerate the saponification process and turns the batch of soap into a solid mass in a short amount of top.  It takes a soap maker with experience and the ability to work quickly to make clove soap.  Men are the top buyers of the clove soap but many women pick up the bar and just love it. 	Lavender Patchouli pretty & down to earth, the two oils combined are out of this world. even customers that aren't fans of patchouli seem to love the lavender patchouli soap, anyway.  The blend is mainly lavender with just the right about of patchouli added to the soap batch the enhance the scent of the lavender.  When patchouli is added to another essential oil in a small amount, it often amplifies the primary scent used.  Men and woman both are equal fans of the lavender patchouli soap. 	Pomander spicy and warm, this soap reminds you a bay rum.  A harmony of sweet orange, patchouli and cinnamon leaf essential oils with real nutmeg, clove and cinnamon powders.  Men's favorite.  we named this soap after Victorian pomanders which were usually used for decoration or Christmas ornaments.  Maybe it is my imagination, but the customers that buy the pomander soap, always seem to be the same customers who talk about their vacations to places like India or Egypt.  I guess it is truly spicy and exotic. 	Patchouli Mint the earthy scent of patchouli and the fresh scent of spearmint essential oil go wonderful together.  A pleasant surprise. our oldest daughter came up with the idea for this soap.  Heavy on the patchouli with a splash of spearmint, it adds a fresh unexpected scent to the earthy patchouli.  More men lean towards this soap but not to the extreme.  If I had to guess, it is 60% men and 40% women who love the Patchouli Mint soap. 	Spice Tea lots of sweet orange essential oil and a dash of cinnamon leaf come together with powdered ginger root and calendula petals.  Spicy and fresh at the same time.  when women want a spicy bar of soap, this is the one they are gravitated to.  Similar to the pomander bar, the spice tea does NOT contain patchouli.  It is very heavy on the orange oil with a splash of cinnamon and the addition of ginger.  At the present time, the spice tea soap is our only soap that contains ginger.
